Mission Statement

The Muskegon County Medical Society Alliance (MCMSA) chapter was officially established in May 1948, though records show occasional meetings amongst medical spouses occurred as early as 1928. Although the MCMSA is considered a "grass roots" organization, we are still affiliated with the Michigan State Medical Society Alliance (founded in 1926) and the American Medical Association Alliance.

The MCMSA is comprised of both physician and dental spouses who are committed to teaching and promoting good health to those who live in Muskegon County. The purpose of our Alliance is solely educational and charitable. Our purposes are:

To assist the Muskegon County Medical Society in its programs for the advancement of medicine and public health. To promote health education.

To sponsor or participate in activities that meet community health needs.

To support health related charitable endeavors.

To cultivate friendly relations and promote mutual understanding among physicians' and dentists' families.
